TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALISATION
Development tailored to the technology
We work with universities, research teams, technology owners and product companies to turn research into agricultural products. Together, we set development priorities and coordinate the production, registration and market work needed for practical use.
An early research result
Start with the technical principle, available data and agricultural problem, and compare the proposed approach with existing local options. Consider production feasibility, application methods and target-market needs to define the first formulation, sample and evaluation tasks.
A candidate product
Review the formulation and existing results to identify further work on scale-up, stability, crop trials and production specifications. Complete the necessary studies and technical records before preparing supply or market introduction.
A product for a new market
Review the specifications, documentation, destination country and intended use. Identify local trial and registration requirements; once these are met, plan demonstrations, distribution and supply.
A partnership model that fits the project
Partnerships can include joint development, technology licensing, product introduction or authorised brand arrangements. With each partner, we define the scope and development work according to the technology’s maturity, available data and target market.
Before exchanging detailed technical information, we agree confidentiality arrangements. Project agreements set out existing intellectual-property rights and the scope of any licence, use of new research findings and trial data, and responsibilities for development, production and registration. For overseas market work, we also agree territories, brand use, quality and supply conditions, and ongoing technical support.
