Legumes are nature’s nitrogen-fixers, biologically fixing from ~30 kg N/ha in pulses to over 200 kg in cowpea and soybean, and enriching the soil for the next crop (peanut can leave nitrogen worth ~96 kg N/ha for a following cereal). Our biology helps growers capture more of that biologically fixed nitrogen — a >10% yield gain with 20–40% less synthetic nitrogen in dedicated trials — raising output while lowering the environmental footprint of legume production.
