Privacy Policy.
Huasheng Biosciences respects your privacy. This policy explains what this website collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights and choices you have. It applies to huasheng.bio and to enquiries you send us through it.
Who we are
Huasheng Bio is the brand under which we trade; the companies behind it are Huasheng Bio Limited (Hong Kong SAR), Huasheng Qiyuan (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (华升启源(北京)生物科技有限公司) and Ideal Verdant Field Seeds Company Limited (Yantai). Huasheng Bio Limited is the controller of the personal data described here; enquiries are handled on its behalf by the two mainland companies. For any question or request concerning this policy, write to contact@huasheng.bio.
Information you give us
When you submit the contact and sample-request form you provide your name, region or country, and email address, and — if you choose to complete them — your company or farm, role, crop interest, acreage, and the content of your message. Please do not put sensitive personal data, confidential business information, or other people’s personal data into the message field: the form is intended for routine commercial enquiries.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider writes a standard server log entry each time a page is requested, recording the IP address, browser and device type, the referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs only to operate the site, diagnose faults, and detect abuse, and we do not try to identify individual visitors from them.
No cookies, no tracking, no advertising
This site sets no cookies — none for analytics, none for advertising, none at all — which is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner. We run no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no cross-site tracking, and we neither profile visitors nor make automated decisions about them. If you pick a language or dismiss the language prompt, that single preference is saved in your browser’s local storage (hs_lang, hs_locale_suggest); it stays on your device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browsing data removes it.
How we use it, and on what legal basis
We use what you send to answer your enquiry, identify the right programme for your crop and region, arrange samples, quotations or local trials, and keep a record of the exchange. Where the GDPR or a comparable law applies, we rely on your consent (given by ticking the box on the form), on the steps needed to enter into a contract at your request, on our legitimate interest in operating and securing this site and in responding to business enquiries, and on legal obligations where they apply.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers named below; with a regional distributor or partner where that is necessary to serve your request, and we will tell you when we do; and with authorities or professional advisers where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
Service providers
Form submissions are relayed to our inbox by Web3Forms. The site is hosted and delivered by Vercel, which keeps the server logs described above. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google when a page loads. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and are not permitted to use your enquiry for their own marketing.
International transfers
We are based in the People’s Republic of China. Information you send us is transferred to, stored in, and accessed from China, and our service providers may process it in the United States and the European Union. Data protection law in those countries differs from — and may offer less protection than — the law where you live. Where a transfer out of the EEA or the United Kingdom needs a safeguard, we rely on your explicit consent to the transfer and on contractual commitments from our providers. If you would prefer not to send information internationally, contact us by telephone instead.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as it takes to deal with your request, and then for up to 24 months from our last contact so that we can pick the conversation back up if you return to us. If a commercial relationship begins, the related records are kept for its duration and for the period required by tax and commercial law. After that, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, ask for your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time — which does not affect processing already carried out. Residents of California and similar jurisdictions may also ask which categories of information we collect and disclose; note that we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Write to contact@huasheng.bio and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We serve the whole site over encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it, and require confidentiality from our providers. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security and any transmission is made at your own risk.
Children
This site is intended for agricultural professionals and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to third-party sites such as research journals, industry publications, and our LinkedIn page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices; once you leave huasheng.bio, their own policies apply.
Aggregated and anonymised information
We may produce statistics and other aggregated or anonymised information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and may use and disclose it for any lawful purpose — for example to improve our products or to report on demand for them.
Changes to our business
If our business is reorganised, merged, or acquired in whole or in part, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. The recipient will remain bound by this policy until you are notified of a replacement.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The revision date is shown below, and material changes will be signalled on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Languages and applicable law
This policy is published in English, Chinese, and Spanish. The translations are offered for convenience; if they conflict, the English version governs. Nothing here limits the rights you hold under the mandatory law of your own country.
