Accessibility.
Huasheng Biosciences is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, and to improving accessibility over time. This statement sets out what we target, what is already in place, and what is not yet good enough.
Conformance target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across huasheng.bio, in all three published languages — English, 中文, and Español. This statement describes where the site currently stands against that target rather than claiming certified conformance.
What we have built in
The site is written as semantic HTML with one main heading per page and a correct heading order, so it can be navigated by structure. Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, a skip link lets you jump straight past the navigation to the main content, and focus is visible throughout. Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and images that are purely decorative are hidden from assistive technology instead of being announced. Interactive controls are at least 24 by 24 pixels. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed, and the palette was chosen for contrast against the dark background. Animation and smooth scrolling respect the operating system's reduced-motion setting, and content still reveals itself if animation never runs. Each page declares its own language so screen readers pronounce it correctly, and the site reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling down to a 320-pixel viewport.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than imply the site is perfect. Product datasheets and safety data sheets are published as PDFs that are not fully tagged for screen readers — if you need any of them in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide the content directly. Typefaces are loaded from a third-party font service, so on a very slow connection text may briefly render in a fallback face. Some field-trial data is presented in tables that need horizontal scrolling on a small screen. We have not yet carried out an audit with users of assistive technology.
How we test
This statement is based on our own evaluation, carried out by reviewing the site against the WCAG criteria, checking it by keyboard, and measuring the rendered pages programmatically across the three languages and across mobile, tablet, and desktop widths — rather than on an external audit. We re-check when we make substantial changes.
