A company built around practical application

Huasheng was founded in Beijing in 2021. The founding team includes members with backgrounds at the University of California, Riverside, Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Their shared purpose was to help promising agricultural research reach practical use.

A promising result is the beginning of product development. Formulation, reproducible production, field evaluation, registration and a route to market must work together. Huasheng works with research teams, technology owners, manufacturers and distributors across these stages.

Conventional and innovative products in one portfolio

The portfolio covers crop protection, crop nutrition, biostimulants and microbial inoculants. Conventional products and products developed from newer technologies can be browsed by their intended use. The catalogue includes active ingredients and formulations as well as named products with their own technical information.

For a procurement enquiry, the starting point is the active ingredient or product, formulation, required specification and destination market. For a technology-development project, the starting point is the available research, rights, development stage and intended application. These different routes lead to the same goal: a suitable product with clear quality and delivery requirements.

Experience in registration and international supply

Huasheng products are sold in more than 30 countries. The company has taken part in over 200 product registrations and ships more than 1,500 plant-protection samples a year for local trials.

A submitted application, an approved registration and a registration that remains valid describe different stages. For each project, the product, territory, registration holder, approved conditions and validity period must be reviewed against the applicable documents. Client-specific projects and documents remain confidential.

Scientific collaboration and technology transfer

Throughout 2023–2026, Huasheng has continued its scientific collaboration and technology transfer. The company collaborates and exchanges ideas with research teams at universities and institutes, including the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the University of Florida and Cornell University. These relationships bring research findings and agricultural application needs into product development.

Across the portfolio, development work addresses formulation, stability, compatibility, application testing and production scale-up. Public product records can be read alongside the research literature; project-specific development, documentation and supply requirements are discussed with the partners involved.
