Formulations & concentrations

Technical materials, single active formulations and mixtures are listed separately, each with its declared content and the tolerance set by the FAO/WHO specification manual. Specifications added to the enquiry list can be sent together with other products in one purchase or registration enquiry.

Technical materials

Technical material for formulators. Each specification states the assay, relevant impurities and test methods.

Fosetyl-aluminium 95% TC≥ 95% (950 g/kg)

Single active formulations

Finished formulations of a single active ingredient, packed and labelled for the destination market.

Fosetyl-aluminium 40% WP40 ± 2%
Fosetyl-aluminium 80% WP80 ± 2.5%
Fosetyl-aluminium 80% WG80 ± 2.5%
Fosetyl-aluminium 90% SP90 ± 2.5%

Approved uses differ by country; the label registered in the destination market applies.

Quality specification

Each specification is supplied to the quality clauses that the FAO/WHO specification manual sets for its formulation type, tested by CIPAC methods. The batch certificate of analysis reports the measured values.

Mode of action & use

Mode of action

Acts directly on oomycetes and stimulates the plant's own defence responses.

Systemic in both xylem and phloem, moving up to new growth and down to the roots.

Typical targets and crops

Phytophthora, Pythium and downy mildews in fruit trees, grapes, citrus, avocado, vegetables, pineapple and turf.

Resistance management · FRAC P07

Phosphonates act partly by inducing the plant's own defences and carry a low resistance risk, with a few cases reported in some pathogens. Use them in programmes with other groups.

This is general information on the active ingredient. Registered crops, targets, rates and preharvest intervals follow the label approved in each market.
