Specification, storage and documents

Viable count and purity

The specification declares the minimum viable count per gram or millilitre at the end of shelf life, with limits for contaminating microorganisms and, for carriers, moisture and particle size. The batch certificate reports the measured results.

Storage and shelf life

Inoculants are living products: they are stored cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, and applied within the shelf life stated on the label. Rhizobial inoculants are applied to seed shortly before sowing.

Documents and private label

Each batch ships with its certificate of analysis and the current safety data sheet. Technical data sheets, label drafts and the documents a registration requires are provided for the target market. Products are supplied in the standard packs listed, or packed and labelled under the customer’s own brand, with the label language and pack size agreed for the market.

Questions

Which microbial inoculants does Huasheng supply?
Nodu™ crop matched rhizobia for legumes, the Orvan™ three strain rhizosphere consortium, Vigor™ plant growth promoting bacteria, Rootia™ Bacillus velezensis inoculant and Mycor™ mycorrhizal inoculant. The table on this page gives the organisms, formulation and declared content of each.
Are rhizobial inoculants matched to the crop?
Yes. Rhizobia nodulate only legumes of their own cross inoculation group, so Nodu™ is supplied as a crop specific version for each legume, such as soybean, peanut, chickpea or common bean.
Can inoculants be supplied under our own brand?
Products are supplied in the standard packs listed, or packed and labelled under the customer’s own brand, with the label language and pack size agreed for the market.
How are inoculants registered?
Registration rules for biological products differ by country: some markets register them as pesticides or biopesticides, others as fertilisers, biofertilisers or biostimulants. Huasheng provides the composition, quality and safety documents for the dossier and supports the application through its registration service. Approved uses follow the registered label.
