Mode of action & use

Mode of action

Reacts with sulfhydryl groups and inactivates many enzymes in fungal cells, preventing spore germination.

Contact protectant: forms a protective deposit on plant surfaces and is not taken up into the plant.

Typical targets and crops

Broad-spectrum protectant against late blight, downy mildews, scab, leaf spots and rusts in potato, tomato, grapes, fruit, vegetables, cereals and banana.

Resistance management · FRAC M

Multi-site contact fungicides carry a low resistance risk because they act at many sites in the fungal cell. They are valuable mixture partners for protecting single-site fungicides.

This is general information on the active ingredient. Registered crops, targets, rates and pre-harvest intervals follow the label approved in each market.
