Mode of action & use

Mode of action

Releases copper ions that denature proteins and enzymes of fungi and bacteria at many sites.

Contact protectant: forms a protective deposit on plant surfaces and is not taken up into the plant.

Typical targets and crops

Downy mildews, late blight, leaf spots and bacterial diseases in grapes, potato, citrus, coffee and vegetables.

Resistance management · FRAC M

Multi-site contact fungicides carry a low resistance risk because they act at many sites in the fungal cell. They are valuable mixture partners for protecting single-site fungicides.

This is general information on the active ingredient. Registered crops, targets, rates and pre-harvest intervals follow the label approved in each market.
