Mode of action & use

Mode of action

Inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), stopping branched-chain amino-acid synthesis.

Pre- and post-emergence, absorbed by roots and leaves, with soil residual activity.

Typical targets and crops

Broadleaf weeds, grasses and sedges such as nutsedge in peanut, sugarcane and pastures; rotational crop intervals apply.

Resistance management · HRAC 2

ALS inhibitors carry a high resistance risk; resistance has evolved in many weed species. Use them in mixtures or sequences with other HRAC groups and observe rotational crop intervals.

This is general information on the active ingredient. Registered crops, targets, rates and pre-harvest intervals follow the label approved in each market.
