Mainly stomach action, with ovicidal activity.
Typical targets and crops
Caterpillars such as bollworms and armyworms in cotton, and soil insects in corn and soybean seed treatments.

Carbamates inhibit acetylcholinesterase, as organophosphates do; resistance to this mode of action is common in several pests. Rotate with other IRAC groups and avoid treating consecutive generations with group 1.
