Acts mainly by ingestion, with some contact activity.
Typical targets and crops
Larvae of caterpillars such as diamondback moth, armyworms and bollworms in vegetables and cotton; slower acting than nerve-active insecticides.

Benzoylureas inhibit chitin biosynthesis and act on larval stages; resistance has been reported in some caterpillars. Apply against young larvae and rotate with other IRAC groups.
